Since humans have been using tools, we have been making spoons. We are continuing this humble tradition.

Each spoon we make comes from fresh wood, from logs found in and around Manchester. Using fresh or green wood enables the spoon to be carved with relative ease with just an axe and knives, it is then set aside to dry for a few days before being finish carved to a smooth finish, no sandpaper needed. Each spoon is finished with a Linseed oil/beeswax mixture, a traditional food safe finish.

If you would like to commission a spoon to be made just send us an email or to see what's currently available, please visit the shop.
