Verge dinner plate

Handmade from quarter sawn UK grown Olive Ash or Brown Oak, these dinner plates will add joy to any meal!. Wood is a natural insulator so doesn’t hold a chill like a standard plate, they also don’t break if dropped! (99% of the time)

They make the perfect addition to your kitchen or a gift for Mom or Dad.

Each plate will have slight variations as they are handmade and colour/grain will vary based on the wood available at the time. Approx. 260mm diameter.

These plates were turned on a vintage Viceroy lathe, made in Leeds. In the tradition of pole lathe turning, the tool marks are left on the plates; no sanding is performed to accentuate the tactile surface of the wood. Finished with food safe linseed oil/beeswax.
